Clinic Membership Terms

Last updated: July 8, 2026

These terms apply to U.S. veterinary clinics that hold a VetBridge USA membership or engage VetBridge USA for a placement. They are in addition to our general Terms & Conditions.

1. Membership and billing

Clinic memberships (including the Talent Pipeline Membership) are billed on a recurring basis and may be cancelled at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. Membership is not required after a veterinarian is placed. The replacement guarantee in Section 3 continues on the terms of your placement agreement whether or not your membership remains active.

Membership fees, placement fees, and any other cost associated with the process are set out in your membership or placement agreement. Membership fees credit toward placement costs up to the amount and on the terms stated in that agreement.

2. Interview guarantee

If VetBridge USA does not deliver at least one qualified candidate interview within 60 days of your membership start date, we will refund the membership fees you have paid.

A qualified candidate interview means a live video call between your clinic and a candidate who holds an active veterinary license in Mexico or Canada; matches the species or practice focus stated in your posted role; meets or exceeds the English level stated in that role; is preliminarily TN-eligible based on our screening, which is not an immigration determination; has confirmed in writing that they wish to be considered for the role; and appears on a video call at a time both parties agreed to.

This guarantee requires that you have posted at least one role and have responded to interview scheduling requests within five business days.

3. Three-year replacement guarantee

If a veterinarian we place leaves your clinic within 36 months of their start date, we will source a replacement at no additional engagement or placement fee, and we will bear the immigration, licensing, and examination costs of the replacement candidate. Replacement means sourcing and placing a new candidate through our normal process, and the timelines that apply to any placement apply to a replacement. Fee treatment on departure and replacement is set out in your placement agreement.

The guarantee applies where the veterinarian resigns for reasons of their own, is terminated for documented performance or conduct cause, or does not arrive or leaves during onboarding.

It does not apply where the role is eliminated or the clinic closes, is sold, or restructures; the clinic materially changes the compensation, schedule, location, or duties from the signed offer; the veterinarian leaves because of non-payment, breach, or a documented hostile working situation at the clinic; the clinic is in arrears on any VetBridge USA fee; or the request is made more than 30 days after the departure date.

VetBridge USA may decline further replacements where two consecutive departures are attributable to causes on the clinic's side.

4. What these guarantees do not cover

Visa, licensing, and examination outcomes are determined by government agencies, state veterinary boards, consulates, and the ICVA, not by VetBridge USA. We manage that process and absorb its cost, but we do not guarantee that any candidate will pass an examination, obtain a license, or be granted a visa, or the timing of any government or board decision.

5. Precedence

Where your membership or placement agreement addresses a matter covered by these terms, that agreement controls.
